futurehealthafrica Orthopaedic Trauma Camp was a huge success in a wonderful new trauma centre in remote rural Nyabondo, Kenya 🇰🇪
We saw trauma injuries that we’d never see in the UK. (continued in 🧵 👇)
This morning our medics were taken through a series of guidelines and practices around the touchy subject of Nerve repair by futurehealthafrica orthopedic surgeon Dr Rob Poulter, during a CME which is part of our ongoing Orthopedic Camp.
Other leaders such as Health CECM Albert Wagurah Taiti also shared their appreciation of the work of the team while both Hospital CEO Dr Samuel Kilonzo and Camp team leader Dr Samuel Ndanya emphasised the role of the camp entrenching better healthcare services at our hospital

The Governor exhorted the teamwork, trust and integrity that the team of NTRH and futurehealthafrica medics have demonstrated over the course of the camp. He also outlined plans to accelerate the opening of a Medical Training College on Campus among other plans
