As part of our Build Up Activities for Global South Arts & Health Week Uganda 🇺🇬 Pavilion, due 24th to 30th June, we hosted an xclusive Meet & Greet session with TherapeuticART Qatar Art Psychotherapy (Trish Bedford) a Licensed UK & Qatar Art Psychotherapist & first licensed art therapist in Qatar at Kiggundu Art Studio .

Trish who also doubles as the Country Festival Director for Qatar 🇶🇦 (This year’s host of the International Convening) took the GSAHW Uganda team together with the artists and guests that came at studio through a mind blowing expressive art therapy session

We also visited some of the prospected collaborators for the GSAHW Uganda Pavilion with her. The amazing #FacesUp to see the great work they do & RAISING UP HOPE were she did some work back in 2011. It was nice seeing her reminisce with the young adults she left as babies.

Sometime last year, my friend Faith Agumya Jemimah released this amazing book and I was honored to edit it. It was during that process that I understood part of my own mental health journey and it is the reason I am very passionate about mental health.

In our mission to move more for our mental health, I continue to share about a topic close to my heart. Suicide is taking more of our young people and we also ought to start these conversations too. Thank you for supporting 🙏🏽

You don’t inform your partner that your friend is coming to sleep over. You ask permission/consent. There are places you can’t go to without asking for permission. I would have thought that this was common knowledge, but apparently it’s a topic being abused by extreme feminists.
