Please take few minutes to complete this survey on redo AF ablation!

It is extremely important to understand the current practice and to design prospective multicenter studies!

My view of shared decision making has changed.

It’s almost always the wrong answer in areas of uncertainty like this 👇🏻

Good to give the issue of patient privacy attention. The writers l, I think, give too much value to consent for social media sharing.

The dr-pt relationship is asymmetric, so a pt will likely feel pressure to allow sharing when asked by their doc.

Good discussion in the paper

Davide Capodanno A particular aspect of this I also wonder about is how do the patients and their families look at this (if at all).

A clearly new device/procedure is of course well informed and consented.

But if it’s a “smaller” thing…

I’m glad DC posted this poll. I wish my colleagues would avoid allowing themselves to be used as free adverts. Also, the images are often privacy violations.

Sumit Verma Piotr Futyma, MD Yet ,we are not sure of long term effects of increasing LA ablation, especially in younger patients. Stiff LA syndrome may be making a comeback?

Don't use Sci-Hub — it's a 'controversial' website with 84M+ research papers freely available.

We should try to make billion-dollar academic publishers richer.

Here's an updated thread on integrating Sci-Hub with Zotero to get free papers.

Please don't do this😉

For me the most poignant slide from Thomas Jared Bunch on Day 2 at Heart Rhythm Society. EP is in its Industrial Revolution era. But we must never forget our roots in electrograms and the cognitive approach to what we do. Otherwise anyone can do our job. 🌸🌸🌸

I will start another debate on left atrial appendage occlusion. This one in Hyde Park format at

I have 9 reasons why I am not convinced this procedure benefits patients. This is percutaneous closure. Surgical closure was shown effective (along with AC) in LAAOS3

Senator Sanders Report:
Wt loss drugs could raise annual US drug spend by $1 trillion.

If Wegovy was sold in the U.S. (currently $989/month) for the same price as it is in Denmark ($186/month) the U.S. could save $317 billion dollars annually if 50% of adults took it.
