From April 10-15, our Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting team will be completing their routine training LIVE on the airfield. All smoke, flames, and emergency vehicles will be carefully controlled and monitored. We appreciate your patience! 👨‍🚒🧯🔥🚒

Operations at CLE have returned to normal following yesterday’s incident. Thank you to our emergency responders and entire airport operations team for your swift response to ensure our passengers, airport users and employees’ safety. The NTSB will manage the investigation.

The airfield has reopened, however it will take some time for operations to return to normal. Thank you for your continued patience.

Approximately 6 pm there was an incident involving a small private aircraft. Emergency responders are on scene. The airfield is currently closed, we will advise when it has reopened.

The place is decked out with signs and balloons promoting both events. Destination Cleveland is here all day greeting visitors and pointing them in the right direction.
