I am delighted to announce our recent Wellcome DA success with Dr Sophie Acton and Clatworthy Lab. Super exciting opportunity. If interested in joining our team as a post-doc please contact any of us for more info.
A wonderful dinner celebrating our recent nature paper! Such an enjoyable discussion of science and immunology. What an honour to sit at the table with leaders in the field - Fiona The Powrie Lab Sarah Teichlab Emily Dr Emily Thornton and Raquel Raquel Bartolomé-Casado
Thrilled to be sharing the wonderful news that work from our lab Yisu Gu Dr Emily Thornton and Teichlab Raquel Bartolomé-Casado has been published today in nature ! Go have a read to learn more about how tissue microniches shape Treg function in the intestines🎉nature.com/articles/s4158…
I am so happy to share that our study has been published today in nature ! 🎉This has been an absolutely fantastic teamwork between Dr Emily Thornton, Yisu Gu The Powrie Lab and Teichlab [Link: rdcu.be/dDzwx]
I am excited to share our paper in nature! Yisu Gu Raquel Bartolomé-Casado Teichlab The Powrie Lab and I collaborated across Wellcome Sanger Institute University of Oxford Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology and Nuffield Department of Medicine. We wanted to understand where and how Tregs in the gut become their best selves. nature.com/articles/s4158… 1/12

Congratulations to Robert Samstein Diego Chowell Lipschultz Precision Immunology Institute & colleagues for a tour de forcestudy showing that MHC II genetics controls lung cancer risk - since MHC II mostly controls APC/CD4 T cells interactions these data further highlight the role of APC/CD4 in tumor immunity
Congratulations to Audrey Gérard and her team, who received £1.5 million in funding from Cancer Research UK for a new project to unravel the coevolution between cancer and the immune system! 🎉
