Padua College in Rosebud have crafted beautiful pieces of jewellery and Narre Warren South P-12 College have made lovely timber tissue boxes.  💍 🌹 🔨

Hands on Learning Illawarra Primary School in TAS has created a pop-up shop and sell garden produce farmgate style on a Friday afternoon at pickup time. This offsets some of the food costs of their program.🍅🌱

Hands on Learning students at Summerdale Primary School in TAS were excited to share the afternoon tea they made for local Aged Care residents.

The HoL crew had great fun making cakes, tea and coffee and found it rewarding to give back to their community. ☕️🍰

Bayswater SC have an ongoing partnership with Locky's Legacy, a #wildlife rescue centre. The #community projects contributed by the Hands on Learning team so far include painting a mural, constructing a timber deck, timber stairs and a wombat hutch for safe transport.

A place to belong is one of the four fundamental elements of Hands on Learning. A physical sanctuary at school fosters belonging and encourages students to take pride in their space. McClelland SC students have designed a new tool rack to keep their precinct safe and tidy! 🔨🧹

Hands on Learning is made up of four fundamental elements that build the #wellbeing platform for young people to grow in confidence, engage and achieve at #school . One is 'people to belong to', small teams working together, sharing meals and building strong relationships.

Green galore at Benalla P-12 College!
The Hands on Learning team built the greenhouse and vegetable garden beds to grow seasonal produce.
The fresh and organic produce is used for meals shared with the school community. 🥬🍅

Hands on Learning teams from Mount Eliza and Craigieburn SC's helped Darraweit Guim, a town affected by VIC floods.

Mount Eliza SC built a mud kitchen, drove 2 hours to deliver & install the mud kitchen. Craigieburn SC did an amazing job building the sandpit for the mud kitchen.

The community can enjoy a break at cricket on these tables thanks to Hands on Learning at Hawksdale P-12 College!
