We've been busy working with our partners from Ministry of Fisheries, Fiji, Republic of Fiji Navy and Royal NZ Navy to help counter Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing π
Having boarded more than 20 vessels since beginning this type of tasking, our presence is already widely felt in the area π¬π§ π«π― π³πΏ

So proud to host a beautiful array of UK in Fiji guests aboard HMS Tamar. She patrolled π«π― π with embarked Fiji Fisheries, Republic of Fiji Navy and NZ π³πΏ Boarding Team; countering illegal fishing - and agreed to throw a reception! A lovely evening π₯ with highly valued friends and guests.
Reflecting on our time in NZ - the crew were warmly invited to a Powhiri by the Royal NZ Navy, given prime berthing with views of Auckland and provided excellent training by Flag Officer Sea Training prior to returning to operations.
