iRISE Study: We are conducting a simulation study, led by Bernhard Voelkl, to assess the efficacy of 10 statistical & design interventions in improving the reproducibility of biomedical intervention studies.
We will also conduct a prospective intervention study to evaluate how implementing the EQIPD Quality System affects best practices & research climate, comparing certified and non-certified units.
iRISE Study: We're exploring the impact of EQIPD Certification on research in biomedical settings. Through surveys & interviews, we're assessing the EQIPD Quality System's influence on research practices. Stay tuned for key insights!
Exciting News! The iRISE Consortium is launching a pioneering intervention study to enhance research reproducibility through computational methods, led by Gustav Nilsonne. Stay tuned for updates as we team up with top academic journals to execute our protocol.

Gill is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Edinburgh & a CAMARADES member. Her research focuses on improving the validity of preclinical research & applying research improvement methodology to the academic setting.
Gustav Nilsonne is an Associate Professor of neuroscience at the Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. He is affiliated with the METRICS center at Stanford University, collaborates closely with the QUEST Center at the BIH & is a founding member of the Swedish Reproducibility Network.
Kim Wever is an Assistant Professor at Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. She leads the Dutch national coordinating centre of CAMARADES & is a co-founder and board member of PROSPERO4animals, preclinicaltrials.eu & GoEQIPD.
