Yeah, I owe a lot to the internet for the way it’s shaped my career and helped create friendships… but damn, being so constantly tethered to it is the worst.

This piece is called ‘Grief’ because I think we’ve all got loads of it lately. I know I do. It feels like my “blooms are wilting” constantly. But with each flower that dies, there’s a small and frustratingly slow bud ready to take it’s place.

Every time I post on Instagram lately, I get super mad/discouraged by how it’s changed. It’s become a really horrible place for artists. I don’t want my art to just be “content.” So posting on Twitter as well doesn’t necessarily solve anything, but I figured: why the hell not?
