There aren’t enough GPs/ practice nurses/1st contact practitioners . Once we’re full, at the rate we already consult, we can’t safely see any more people in a day.

I wish media and others would stop this narrative that GPs work only part time. We’re not. More than half of our work is out side the consulting room (just as with other medics) - R&D, training, running clinical teams, home visiting, working in other clinical area and so on.

Lower taxes? Really? What do you want to achieve? Greater child poverty? Even bigger reductions in spending on education? More regressive cuts to local government? Further immiseration of public sector workers? Worse life for people on welfare?

Household fuel bills are set to hit £4000 - yet Centrica (who own British Gas) have just posted profits of $1.34 billion for the last 6 months alone.

All on this government’s watch.

Levelling up? No. Fuel poverty, food poverty, obscene inequality & fat cats getting ever fatter.
