After one of the wettest winters I can remember, our #honeybees are finally out and about in decent numbers 🐝

Plenty of #woodland #wildflowers around for them, although strange to see bluebells flowering at same time as blackthorn 🤔

Have just received copies of the 2nd Chinese edition of my book #TheManWhoClimbsTrees (2017). Just amazing!

Maybe I can learn to read Chinese by going through it word by word.

Boarded the plane at Heathrow last night. Woke up to this view 7000 miles later.

Blows my mind that we can now reach the far side of the world in under 15hrs.

Made the most of yesterdays dry weather to get our new Barn Owl box up. Received some good advice from Raptor Aid CIO at charity #RaptorAid . Chose a nice mature Ash with a sheltered south facing view. Fingers crossed that owls like it and that they get in before the jackdaws 🤣

Finally found ultimate tool for removing baggage tags & cable ties when no penknife around.

Mind you, there are some large cats that would make a tasty snack of her on this next film shoot, so probably best to leave her home. Sorry Pip, next time 😁
