Boosting Confidence: I was with my friend and his daughter (for hackathon). In true Kelsey Hightower style, he took the time to talk to my friend’s daughter, boosting her confidence and even getting her a spot in the event documentary to showcase her Hackathon project.

My opinion on the whole terminal AI thing: I think iTerm's implementation of it is pretty unoffensive, but I also don't plan on adding native AI integrations into Ghostty. My hope/plan is to enable this sort of behavior via a plugin interface instead.

I love that Ollama is primary a library and the CLI tool is a thin layer that consumes the library. You can build a single binary that pulls and runs a model. And the local model registry/cache deals with being able to use a model without having to redownload.

I was in a group discussion recently about AI & content creation. People kept talking about ways to get the AI to generate better content and I was like, 'that's not what I want it to do.' I want AI to proofread and critique my work so I can improve, not for it to do it for me.
