Chartreuse This is emulating an Adlib directly. I’m using the emu8950 OPL emulator that graham sanderson optimized for the Pico for his Doom port, but with some of the OPL features that he disabled re-enabled like percussion and timers.

Is there a name for the rule of USB-A connectors, that when plugging in blind it will nearly always be the wrong way around.
What about the corollary for when looking at the orientation first?

Lol. Got it working: I didn’t have the right define set to use the optimized emu8950 OPL emulator. So there we go. ISA AdLib emulator on a Raspberry Pi Pico.

I finally made a video of a multiplayer RP2040 Doom game! Here is a 3 player deathmatch (network wired together by I2C on a breadboard in the middle) featuring none other than Luke Wren @[email protected].

Hooray; my RP2040 boot rom Easter egg has finally been found. Wasn’t a lot of space, so it is only 11 instructions long, but hopefully a quite confusing 11 instructions!
