The Grand Opening of The Lynx was yesterday. All photos of me are sweaty and disheveled—the state of my house, lawn, car outrageous—but the state of my soul is expansive, flying. Thousands of people came. Our readers and musicians were perfect. It was pure love all day.

I lost my water bottle in a booked car from the San Antonio airport to the hotel yesterday; when the car came at 5:15, different driver, I opened the back door and, lo!, there it was on the floor. It just wanted a little night out away from me.

Older son sets toiletries out every night in front of younger son’s room to ensure proper morning hygiene (otherwise spotty). 😭
