Lovely evening canvass in Stonehouse knocking on doors for Cllr Lewis Allison, the Plymouth Labour candidate in St Peter and the Waterfront.

More people told us tonight theyโ€™re voting Labour for the first time. Finished the canvass with a real bounce in my step๐ŸŒน

At our
launch, in addition to introducing our candidates, we shared our manifesto which contains our five pledges as well as looking back over what we've achieved in the 11 months since you put your faith in us to run the city last year๐ŸŒน

The first house I lived in was on Longstone Court in Killingworth.

I have lived in and around the Cramlington and Killingworth constituency for my entire life.

It would be an honour to represent the area in Parliament.

Fantastic that Shaun Davies - Standing Up for Telford will be our next LGA Chair. Following this news, I am standing to be the next Leader of LGA Labour.

Together, we can keep winning, maintain our gains and support Groups to be the best examples of Labour in power.

Today we launched our manifesto โ€” a plan to fix problems, get things done, and make life better.

Fantastic to see Bournemouth Labour activists, councillors, campaigners, and members join together to launch the manifesto and introduce the team of candidates! ๐ŸŒน

Labour wins through hard work at every level, on doorsteps and streets in every town.

Great to be out talking with residents this afternoon with Tom Hayes and Bournemouth Labour.

Bournemouth needs Labour MPs and a Labour government.

This is a disgusting way to treat organisations which have been invaluable throughout Covid and the cost of living crisis. How are organisations like Citizens Advice BCP and Community Action Network (CAN) supposed to plan for the future when they aren't sure what resources they'll have in 3 months time?

The Tory Chaos locally continues, Drew Mellor has finally resigned, we don't just need a different Tory to replace him we need completely new leadership locally. May 4th can't come soon enough, and we can finally elect a council that works in the interests of local residents
