One Thing 🧠💡 Lee Vaughan Yes! Great points.

Time with the person is key. Quality time, creating the conditions for meaningful, positive change.

It is a collaboration. You work and walk together to help the person find and follow their winding path. Until they go on themselves.

Care, guide, encourage.

As you might know, Flippin’ Pain was inspired by Pain Revolution, led by eminent researcher, Professor Lorimer Moseley AO. 🌟

Lorimer has a (relatively new) podcast and he's also coming to the UK for a training course this June. More info on our website: flippinpain.co.uk/news/lorimer-m…

Would anyone be interested in having a group call to discuss designing a study where the curable app is incorporated into a pain management pathway? 😃

Pain Coaching.

Person first, not condition or body part first.

Meeting the person where they are now.

Establishing their needs.

From there, forward we go together until they are confident/independent to continue.

Nick Efthimiou I did a webinar recently (to the Royal college of Chiropractors) & I talked about how words matter. Straw poll on SoMe came up with some bangers. They ruin lives, you can’t always get it right but you can work to not get it wrong.

Episode 5! What do you think? Alex Haagaard (they / them) urges clinicians & researchers to recognise that healthcare systems often perpetuate injustice & inequality, calling for a critical analysis of guidelines and a focus on marginalized patients.
