Quite a peculiar turn of events when social media sites have more accurate information about drug withdrawal effects than professionals - the results of decades of misinformation from industry playing down these effects which has entered guidelines. Leads to rampant mis-diagnosis

Good to see some clinicians supporting patients by providing liquid versions of medications to allow hyperbolic tapering - altho more costly in the short term, likely to save costs in the long term

Due to a lack of training ppl forced to get advice on how to safely come off antidepressants from social media. When will curricula be updated to stop this from happening? Not just dizziness/headaches but suicidality and akathisia. Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines might help

Good to see the Aussie regulator taking the issue of Post-SSRI Sexual Dysfunction seriously enough to update warnings. Hopefully the MHRAgovuk and U.S. FDA will follow suit.
