Rafah is being decimated, there is nowhere else left to go. Israel is now bombing more than 1.7 million civilians trapped in Rafah, Gaza's last place of refuge. A massacre is happening in Rafah right now and the world is silent.

After previously erecting walls around the encampment, the police have set up a checkpoint at the only entrance. Several protesters remain inside — and over 1,000 protestors are gathering outside the gates in solidarity and to bear witness, along with several counter-protesters.

Shame on MIT Pres. Kornbluth for ordering the clearance of the peaceful Scientists Against Genocide Encampment. The State Police SERT team is moving in, as drones and helicopters fly overhead and several students remain in the camp, risking arrest, suspension and loss of housing.

Today was a “resounding victory” for the Students Against Genocide Encampment at MIT. Some Zionists and pro-Israeli counter-protestors showed up and demanded a violent police crackdown — but as the sun sets on Kresge Lawn, the camp is still standing and peace has prevailed.
