I don’t think it should be old school thinking to have an ‘everything is earned’ & WE > ME mindset.

It is life.

Over the past several years I had an opportunity to speak to both UConn and Alabama’s men’s basketball teams… and I outlined THEN exactly what they need to do NOW to win a championship. Tonight’s winner will be the one that does THIS the best!

It’s important to realize that what makes a person really special isn’t their skill, their talent or their title. It’s how much they’re willing to give of themselves to help others. It’s about putting others first & understanding that the world is about more than just themselves!

It should not be transactional.

Coaches holding your kids to standards and expectations are a good thing. It is not a reason to run to the AD and complain that the coach is being “mean”.
AD’s you need to stand up for your coaches.
