Ryan McAllister Mike Joy Yep. Neat article here about the car his dad drove in that 1970 Riverside race and the family. theroaringseason.com/showthread.php…

Best throwback scheme? Here's my choice: Rick Ware's dad raced against Parnelli in the 1970 Riverside Trans Am.
Vic Edelbrock's family has his original '69 Bud Moore Trans Am Mustang. Vic was quite the racer!
See the Historic Trans Am cars race at Sonoma, Nascar weekend, Jun 7-8.

Jeff, I love throwback schemes that make an easily recognized connection. Bonus points for including the original driver and/or team members.
I even like the obscure ones (they're trying, too).

Yes. Malaise and Radwood-era cars will increase in value as your generation's disposable income increases, and you want to acquire the cars of your youth.

He got it on the first try, but @MikeJoy500's callback tripped up Kevin Harvick when executing this week's secret word at Kansas.

Good ?/comment here from Denny Hamlin. He's not alone. The quality of the photo has many factors: sunlight (which is why the Derby photo was clearer), humidity (it rained earlier), distance from S/F line (the cam is on the cold side of PR). Here are two examples during daylight.
