I ended my day at B.A. watching our incredible middle school scholars who participated in a DUAL ENROLLMENT presentation to the high school students, James F. Griffin II and myself! AMAZING work happening in the Boyd H. Anderson High School zone! #ChooseBroward !

We will be bringing Culinary Arts back to Lauderdale Lakes Middle School, creating another pathway to Boyd H. Anderson High School (B.A.)! Students will also be taking the Food Safety Industry Certification exam!

Many “Next Moves” were made today! My Next Move encouraged high school seniors to explore career pathways by interacting with local agencies & businesses. Thanks to our partnership with the GFLAlliance, students, motivational speakers & explore job & internship opportunities!

Almost 400 high school seniors from 28 schools joined us for the “My Next Move” event! Students explored various industries they can join right out of HS, many with tuition reimbursement options! Thank you to the Greater Ft. Laud. Alliance for an AMAZING collaborative effort!

The CTACE dept. took over KCW for “Take Your Child To Work Day!” Our scholars rotated through 4 stations that highlighted our CTE & innovative programs- Culinary, Criminal Justice, Robotics & Team Building! They ended their day in the board room voting for pizza every Friday!
