I needed a design for a Crypto Confidential magazine ad.

Look what they came back with 👀

Slowly figuring out my workflow while taking a portfolio approach to book publishing:

Crypto Confidential - In promo mode, doing outreach, planning marketing, etc.

Sci-Fi Novel - Act 1 is out for feedback, letting it sit until I have notes back.

Nonfiction Book 2 - Currently

I’m holding an open house for this spot this weekend and it’s honestly an insane house for a social couple! (Where are you DINKs and DINKWADs?!)

It’s walkable to a ton of awesome restaurants / bars:
- Suerte (amazing fancy Mexican)
- Intero (my favorite restaurant, GF

A treadmill desk + cooking 1-pan meals actually makes this extremely easy.

Act 1 of the sci-fi novel is close to being ready for reader feedback.

Doing a quick pass this week for any big issues then sharing it with a few people 🥳

I wonder if we would have luxury software if Apple hadn’t killed one of the first attempts at it.

I love sending out advance copies so much.

Sent another 12 last week and 17 yesterday!

I’m almost out of copies 😭

The first-edition mailings will start in a few weeks though, and the packing for them is *incredible*

Mind blown. I knew Nat Eliason went deep down the crypto rabbit hole over the past few years but I had no idea how deep that hole went. Excited to read more of your future books Nat!

I ignored this piece of advice while writing Crypto Confidential...

And really regret it.

Jimmy Soni told me that during the drafting process, I should, at some, point read the whole book out loud to myself.

I didn't want to & it felt like it would take too long compared to

Devoured on a Saturday afternoon.

Nat Eliason you had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

More than half of the people I’ve reached out to recently asking if I can send them an advance copy of Crypto Confidential have said something like this.

Which is *insane* considering:

1. Only ~100 copies are out in the wild

2. The book doesn’t come out for 6 weeks still!

Not taking your work extremely seriously is a form of self-sabotage.

You're so afraid to fail, you convince yourself failure doesn't matter.

And in doing so, manifest the mediocrity you were afraid of in the first place.

3 days and ~10hr of audio later, the audiobook recording is done 🕺

Didn’t know what to expect going into it but I’m VERY proud of how this turned out.

Can’t wait for the release 🥳

Day 2!

Made it through 112/275 pages yesterday, apparently a pretty good pace 🕺

Approximately 4hr of Audible audio.

Or 2hr for you 2x monsters.

Update: this is VERY fun!

I haven’t read the whole book in ~8 months so it’s been fun to re-read it.

Plus now I get to kinda act it out, it’s a blast.

Hell I’d do this for friends books if they asked me.
