Thousands of Canadians drove to various places along the St. Lawrence River between Cornwall and the Quebec boundary on Monday to view the total solar eclipse. “It’s one of the things on the bucket list,” said Yung Ma of Edmonton, Alberta.

Some streaky cloud cover in the Adirondacks, but looking promising as we get closer to the #eclipse !

Melissa Thompson-Flynn and her wife are watching the #SolarEclipse2024 from downtown Saranac Lake. The couple, from Saratoga Springs, saw the last total eclipse in Oregon in 2017. “It’s a very impressive and profound experience,” said Thompson-Flynn.

We're hearing reports that people felt the #earthquake around the North Country, from Glens Falls over to Watertown, up to Keene Valley, Loon Lake, Saranac Lake (💁‍♀️) and Edwards, NY.

The #earthquake shook my home in Saranac Lake. Initial reports show the 4.7 magnitude quake was in northern New Jersey and was felt from Pennsylvania up to northern NY.
