NEMA SECURES WIN IN COURT
Kole Chief Magistrate’s Court has convicted six people over wetland degradation in areas of Aeronyero, Awieabam and Iwanyikeng in Kole District.
The convicts have been ordered to restore the degraded wetlands and also compensate NEMA.

Close to 31,000 people die in Uganda annually from health complications such as thoracic lung diseases attributed to poor air quality.
