We've been hatching butterflies in our Nine Mile Ride Primary School club 🦋 We've all been fascinated with how they've turned from caterpillar to beautiful Red Admirals in what seemed like no time at all!
So wonderful to release them safely into the wild too.

Year 2 had a fantastic trip to Eton College Natural History Museum, as part of their Jurassic Forest topic. They experienced a guided Gallery visit and took part in a Dinosaur 🦕 and Fossil workshop! Thank you to Eton Collections for showing us your incredible exhibits 😃

How lovely is this weather? All of our pupils have enjoyed lots of outdoor playing and learning this week, including Year 2 who have been having fun in the wild flower garden 🌸

Year 4 had great fun last week practising their golf skills! They took turns at the driving range which was set up on our lovely school field ⛳

Congratulations to our Year 3/4 pupils who took part in the Cross Country event hosted by St Neots School. One of our Year 3 pupils came 1st in the Under 8 Boys, one of our Year 4 pupils came 3rd in the Under 9 Boys - NMR finished 2nd overall out of 15 Wokingham District Schools.

Year 5 pupils used a wide range of techniques in their drama session last week, exploring the emotional subject of the evacuation of children during World War Two. Our children thoroughly engaged with the session, and produced some brilliant work TheatriKids

‘Goldilocks and the Laughing Ducks’ was the stimulus for devising last week over at Nine Mile Ride Primary School last Friday.

Year 2 pupils have been learning about Jackson Pollock in their Art lessons and his techniques of dripping and splatting paint to create abstract art 🎨 Everyone loved imitating his style to create their own masterpieces!

Some of our Year 6 pupils enjoyed hockey this afternoon while Poplar played golf on the field! Great skills shown by everyone involved ⛳ 🏑
