Someone just asked me why I would ever block a fellow ? Being Nolefam doesn't automatically mean you are a good person, on the same token being a Fedal fan doesn't make you a bad person.

I like some Fedal fans and dislike some Novak fans, it's person inside that counts.

Djokovic in the press states that he was nauseous for almost 2 hours, felt dizzy and was bleeding.

These are all RED FLAGS for concussion.

How he was just told to go to his hotel and rest and put some Ice on it is scandalous by Internazionali BNL d'Italia they legally have a duty of care.

Djokovic has confirmed he had no proper medical checks after being hit on the head from a height which caused nausea, dizziness and some bleeding.

Internazionali BNL d'Italia had a duty of care to ensure he was checked properly someone with a head injury are not capable of making decisions.

Amy Lundy Dahl I can hardly believe the negligence of the ATP and Rome organizers. suffered blood loss, dizziness and nausea from a traumatic blow to the head. But nobody took him to the hospital? No doctors cleared him to play? What a joke. Imagine this in the NFL or NBA.

In my many years of watching Djokovic I've never ever recommended that he retire from a match.

Today was different, he just wasn't right and having just watched the match back I do think he may well be suffered from some mild concussion.

I hope some rest will make him better.

So good to meet a Derby County and England legend Roy McFarland last night at Punjabi Rams 10th anniversary party last night.

He's not bad at doing the Bhangra too! 🕺🏾🙏🐏

The US open paid Genie Bouchard a record breaking 8 figure amount when she suffered a head injury at their event in 2015 for their negligence.

Rome did a number of negligible actions on Friday.

Amy Lundy Dahl I Suffered a concussion followed by post concussion syndrome. Recovery from head injury is not a linear path and understandable that he could feel fine or ok one day and the “off” - sick and disoriented the next. Terribly accident.

Sounds like a concussion.
I’ve done some coaching (different sport) and had to go through concussion protocol training. If he were one of my kids, I wouldn’t let him play for at least 10 days, then re-check symptoms. So unlucky. 😔

A number of negligent instances happened at Internazionali BNL d'Italia on Friday;

- A lack of security/stewards meant fans were able to get very close to players from up and above too, this poses a clear threat and risk to welfare of fans and players.

- A number of fans were seen and…

Rome has a duty of care to ALL its players. Where a player has been injured by negligence of another, full details have to provided and any injured parties have to be looked after.

ANY head injury should have merited a swift MRI. Instead Djokovic was ferried back to his hotel.

Pavvy G A full head assessment is needed
Clearly, something is wrong and if Novak Djokovic has a headache still and balance is an issue he needs a medical scan soonest to make sure he has time to rest and recover.
Yes, he got beat but anyone can see something is going on.
Rest well 👍🎾

I was at Padel recently and a player fell and hurt himself. Details of the incident were taken. As there was potential a head/neck injury an ambulance was called as the venue had a duty of care to the player.

Why didn't Rome do any of this on Friday after a players head injury?

On Friday the organisers were desperately trying to play down the 'accident' that the didn't even take details of the fan whose negligible actions caused a players head injury.

The also didn't insist that Djokovic have a MRI and get fully checked at a hospital.

Unacceptable.

The big lad from Fridays incident should definitely have left his information and spoke to the Police before he left the stadium.

Further investigation just from his body language alone should have been merited.

A relative of mine who is a Doctor said there could well be a chance that Djokovic could still be suffering from some mild concussion after the blow to his head on Friday night.

It explains a lot about today.

Djokovic is seeing some medics and likely have a scan/X Ray.

As expected, Djokovic confirms he hasn't felt the same since the blow to the head. Felt a completely different player from Friday and will get some medical checks to try and figure things out.

This should reassure those 'fans' that think that he's not motivated/good enough etc.

Djokovic isn't a drama queen like Nadal; it's just not in his character to start listing his issues and problems. He also doesn't want to give anything away to his rivals but also wouldn't want the limelight taken away from Tabilo.

He will be absolutely fine come Roland-Garros

A reminder Djokovic said in his pre event tournament that his main priorities for this year were now Roland-Garros Wimbledon The Olympic Games and US Open Tennis

Rome was mainly for preparation and to keep building, unfortunately Fridays incident has meant preparations didn't go great here.
