First you privatize a council service, to local private firms.
Then big corporate buys up small firms to exploit economies of scale and rent-seeking.
Next hedge fund buys corporate & ‘extracts value’ by price gouging the state, selling assets & loading on debt.
Then bankruptcy.

The evidence continues to roll in from across the UK. Water privatisation has been a complete failure.
