Advisory: Police Operation 1200 Block Garnet Street

Police are asking the public to avoid the area of 1200 Block Garnet Street as a police operation is underway. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to choose another route; those in the area are advised to shelter in place.

SIRT is asking that anyone who directly witnessed or has video of the Regina Police officer-involved shooting yesterday on the 1100 block of Garry Street to please contact SIRT at [email protected] to be contacted by an investigator.

SIRT has been deployed to a Regina Police officer-involved shooting that took place today. Details to follow.

Yesterday, members of the Regina Police Service and community partners came together to bring awareness to the effects that violence has on survivors and victims at Hearts in the Park.

Last week, class 18 of the Treaty 4 Citizens Police Academy held their graduation ceremony 👏
