I am now in competition with friends and colleagues to keep my job. The university is going to lose some of the brightest, hard-working and generous people I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. How can a university care so little for teaching excellence and research?

In Lincoln Social & Political Sciences, we face 4 job losses (on top of 2 leaving by voluntary severance, and several who left earlier without replacement). What mgmt proposes would cut staff who teach on growing programmes, & move us from 8 profs at the start of the year to 4🙃

The new writing marathon will start on 02.05.2024. We are planning to have in total 5 weekly meetings, which will be on Thursdays at 7 PM Almaty/Tashkent time. Our zoom link is available to all marathon participants during the week, if anyone wants to work in a small group.
