The resounding message I kept hearing on that day was COMMUNITY, and that is definitely what we had!

Lauren and Jason are running today in the Run With Meb 5K. It’s a great event to support the Meb Foundation and all the work they do to help our community. I won’t be running but I’ll be cheering them on😀

Did you know that before I ran my first 26.2 miles, I held the American Record in the 10k?

On this day in 2001 at the Cardinal Invitational, I did 25 laps faster than any American had before. It is still the fastest 10k I have ever run, and am proud the record stood for 9 years

In high school, I was a miler and second in the nation at indoors, way before I moved to the marathon. Seneca Lassiter won that race, but the competitor in my got him in outdoors. Full disclosure, I was a senior and he was a junior #TBT

10 years ago, I won the most significant race of my life. I still get chills watching this video 10 years later. Thank you everyone who celebrated this special victory with me in Boston last week.

At our final Boston Marathon Organizing Committee meeting, the BAA was very kind enough to present me with my official bib number for Monday’s marathon, although it seems like in my case it is my bib “name”, not my bib “number”!!! 😊

Mexico's Laura Galvan dominated the women's elite race at the #Carlsbad5000 today clocking 15:19. She also won the race last year.

USA steeplechaser Marissa Howard finished second in 15:39.
