For sure, and I have thoughts. The protagonist of my new novel Birdeye SALT · Independent trade publisher, est. 1999 is a 67-yo woman with two daughters aged 49. I wrote it partly in response to this issue of how older women are portrayed in fiction. I hope men/younger people read it as well as 40s-70s women.
