If the most well-resourced universities in the country can’t find a way to create a space for peaceful protest, we are in trouble.

Universities must model a commitment to human rights by providing space for free expression. The rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association are critical to protecting human dignity and enhancing gender equality.
