We had the privilege of welcoming a delegation of donors from Somalia Humanitarian Fund & OCHA Somalia to Baidoa. It was an opportunity for our donors to witness the impact of their support & projects we implemented to address the region's challenges, notably in providing WASH services to IDPs.
Yesterday we had an opportunity to host a delegation of donors from Somalia Humanitarian Fund OCHA Somalia in Baidoa, where they interacted with the community and witnessed first hand the tireless efforts and dedication of SHF partners in the region.
The floods in East Africa, striking deep at the heart of my beloved homeland, fill me with sorrow.
Yet, I find hope in UN Humanitarian & our partners' relentless efforts. Together, we shore up anticipatory actions and deliver life-saving aid.

As anticipatory action, our field team initiated with support from Somalia Humanitarian Fund hygiene promotion campaign in Baidoa, aimed at IDPs & people at risk to floods in the Gu' rainy season. It focused on disseminating information regarding accessing life-saving support & emergency 📞.
ADA SOMALIA has successfully completed the rehabilitation of 8 #Shallow_Wells in 8 villages in #Luuq supported by Somalia Humanitarian Fund. These water💧 facilities will provide access to clean and safe water to the communities in the area.
