Suluweti and I had the opportunity to visit and lay a wreath at the final resting place of the late Adrian Underwood at Charlton Cemetery in Andover, Hampshire, to pay our respects. Adrian lost his life in a terrorist attack in Oman in 2021.

I had the privilege of meeting with the UK’s Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Lord David Cameron in London. We also briefly discussed the Sustainable Development Agenda and the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Samoa this October.

I had the honor and privilege of laying a wreath at the Royal Military Chapel in Wellington Barracks in London to honor the lives of those soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

I recently had a productive bilateral meeting with the Secretary General of the Commonwealth Secretariat, Hon Patricia Scotland KC at Marlborough House in London. The meeting focused on cooperation opportunities in the build up to the upcoming CHOGM 2024 to be held Samoa this October.

I had the pleasure of meeting with the UK's Secretary of State For Defence, Hon. Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP, to discuss strengthening collaboration between Fiji and the United Kingdom in various areas such as counter-terrorism, cyber defence, and protection of critical infrastructure.

I had the honor of meeting with the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle at the Speaker's Chambers at Porticullis House within the Palace of Westminster. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss parliamentary cooperation.

I had the honor of meeting with His Majesty King Charles III at Buckingham Palace in London on the 7th of May, 2024. It was a truly humbling experience to be granted a royal audience with the King and to convey the gratitude of the Coalition Government and the people of Fiji.
