Congratulations to Kosova. The requested 2/3 majority in the PACE was clearly achieved and is even a 3/4 majority (76,6 %). Its up to the Committee of Ministers now to react and to welcome Kosova in the Council of Europe.

Congratulations to Pierre-Alain Fridez (Switzerland, ⁦SOC GROUP COE⁩) for his appointment by acclamation as rapporteur on « Putting an end to collective expulsions of aliens ».

Today, prosecutors interrogated me, claiming I „violently” obstructed the authorities two years ago. Out of the many protesters, two of us were charged after becoming candidates for the European Parliament. This is a Stalinist show trial, and I will not bow to the Orban regime.

The PACE_Political Affairs Committee, meeting in Paris, has recommended that Kosovo* be invited to become a member of the @CoE. More details on the PACE site soon…

Next step: a plenary debate - due on 18th April - and a vote by the full Assembly on its statutory Opinion.
