Chestnut class were guided by a friendly robin who showed them where to discover their hidden keys and begin our exciting writing focus inspired by the text #TheSecretGarden #SchoolValueCuriosity
Year 1 had an amazing time riding their scooters and learning about how to stay safe when travelling on them. #SchoolValueCourage
Our continued links with Signature at Caversham have led to a regular 'club' after school each week, where some of our pupils visit the care home to work with the residents. Currently, our project is a co-produced scarecrow for the Sonning Scarecrow Trail! #community

Today the entire school of 210 pupils Sonning Church of England Primary School enjoyed a 6m digital planetarium night sky, visited the Space Station, handled a famous meteorite and learned about the Solar System & search for real aliens. During an afternoon, with tea and biscuits, Acorn Class had the opportunity to ask some BIG questions to visiting grandparents. It was lovely to hear some of the discussions that took place and we were lucky that so many grandparents could join us. #SpiritualityDay #SchoolValues
