Really enjoyed being part of the Edinburgh International Festival launch with Ingrid Sawers

Tomorrow in Edinburgh St James Quarter at midday, Ingrid Sawers and I will be performing some opera arias to celebrate the opening of ticket sales for Edinburgh International Festival Come along! It’s free….

If you are in Edinburgh tonight and at a loss as to something to do, go and see Scottish Opera Marx in London. It is stunning. A feast for the eyes and ears. Brilliant singing and playing of a really amazing piece. And the staging is so gorgeous.

Child no. 1 had a brilliant time at the St Mary's Music #lowerbrass day. Brilliant teachers giving masterclasses and group workshops. I’ve never seen so many trombones in one place….! 🤣

Nothing like revising a bit of Vivaldi for the soul….
