live by this idea that we’re surrounded by “ambient knowledge” - it’s in our environment, in the spaces between people. I admire people who are highly perceptive about this ambient knowledge. They know what to say, how to joke, how to move in a fluid way depending on the space

I think we should ask ourselves more: “Do I care enough to fix it when everything breaks?” And it will, because growth breaks everything

We devote ourselves to something or other, and it is our choice what form and shape that worship takes
