The way to be right more often is to always keep in the back of your mind that you might be wrong. Maybe you're making wrong assumptions. Maybe your data is bad. Maybe you're biased. Then, if you come across any data point that seems to contradict what you think, take it

The Webb Telescope finds evidence that super massive black holes grew very quickly in the first billion years of our universe, even faster than the growth of the galaxies that surround them today. If found to be true, it would be a massive shift in our ‘which came first?’

From Galaxy’s Edge to Air and Space

This Boeing CV2 Cargo Air Vehicle (CAV) was mounted with an X-wing 'body shell' and flown over Walt Disney World Resort for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It has joined our collection and is now on display at the Udvar-Hazy Center.

Amazing that a chip bricked in 46-yr-old Voyager I, preventing it from sending data, and NASA figured out how to split up and reallocate its functions to other hardware, sending code 15 billion miles away (45 hours round trip!)--and Voyager's back online. blogs.nasa.gov/voyager/2024/0…

Listening to some sounds from my youth. Don’t think I’ve ever heard a band play with as much intensity as Rage Against The Machine in the early 90s. Their live shows were incandescent.

Massive news from Kheiron. Their AI flagged every single patient in their UK NHS trial who were later confirmed to have breast cancer, as well as an extra 12% of cancers that the doctors did not identify…!

Truly saving lives with AI. This should be deployed immediately

Open source AI has a pace like I have never seen: “There are 845 generative AI repos with at least 500 stars on GitHub. They are built with contributions from over 20,000 developers, making almost a million commits.”

This is why it’s such an exciting time to work in AI and why
