Today marks the end of the #16daysofactivism against SGBV and the commemoration of Human Rights Day!
Let us arm ourselves with knowledge, identify the signs and symptoms of abuse, and work together with NGOs, law enforcement agencies and governments to #endviolenceagainstwomen .
Today we paid a courtesy visit to the Vcare for Development Foundation.
Our partnership began in last year during the #16DaysofActivism for a joint campaign. Together, we took Intergenerational Conversations to LGAs across Lagos, igniting hope and action against SGBV.

We marked #16DaysofActivism against gender-based violence by visiting Matunga Railway Station - run entirely by some truly impressive women!
Then we partnered with the #RedDotFoundation and Consulate General of Spain in Mumbai to discuss how to combat the harassment and violence so many women face.
There are so many ways in which we can work together as friends, families and communities to stop GBV. I encourage you to Speak up. Change it. Stop it. Say NO to abuse and GBV!

Female sex workers and marginalized women face major challenges, including violence, discrimination, and lack of accessibility to legal aid and HIV/SRHR services. We need to identify safe spaces that will create an enabling environment.
