Day 8: Act it out
Act out something you do everyday but in character.
I am the Ayrshire Kid (Knitter In Disguise)! π§ΆπΆοΈ
My contribution to #thejanuarychallenge #64millionartists today, based on childhood memories with Michael Rosen

Day 6: A journey with purpose
I'm learning Scottish Gaelic so my journey is a learning one. I'm very much a beginner but I'm getting there thanks to the items in my old-style school satchel and the journey is great.
Day 5: Wait a Minute
I am a forensic recycler so I enjoyed this challenge. I picked out some discarded bits from the bin under my desk and made a Rubbish Charm Bracelet! Evidence of wrapping and snacking abound. π

Day 2: From My Window
At first I saw grey, just grey
But there were other colours - greens, reds, browns
The line where the water meets the land was so feint and the houses were like ghosts
And it was still. Beautifully still.

Day 3: Dots
Create a pattern or image using dots.
I don't know what this is but I just went with it. I overthink everything so it was good to 'just do' (just dot!). The perfectionist in me groaned when some of the dots joined but hey ho!

Day 23: That peaceful place
I thought of all the places where I felt that overwhelming sense of peace and calm and then I realised my 'the place' is home. I am truly blessed and very grateful.
The Jungle in Ammanford Library is growing and students from ILS have been busy helping!
Thank you for creating an inspirational and unique collage for all to enjoy.

Day 27: Fabric Stories
In the early 1980's I went through a 'pink phase'. Still love pink but don't wear it much. I dyed some old fabric pink and will make a dress or a skirt for summer. Rediscover that 80s Pink Phase vibe!

Day 28: Out of My Hands
Found myself thinking about what I was drawing rather than worrying about not being able to draw with my left hand. It's a simple drawing but was fun to do.
It's time to take part in TheJanuaryChallenge2023, a sketch a day from a prompt sent by #64millionartists .
Today's task is to make a 'better future'. So keep smiling!

Off to London to film a podcast with #64millionartists - possibly, the legend Michael Rosen ππππ will still be around when I arrive! Thatβs if he hangs on for lunch so Iβm hoping heβs peckish at noon. Chocolate cake? Jellybeans? π Children's Laureate Wales Literature Wales

(@MoLI_Museum is a lovely spot to visit btw)
After a busy three years, I'm back participating in #64MillionArtists #JanuaryChallenge
Today we were asked to look out the window and reflect π§οΈ

Not sure I followed the task but never mind, too late now. Think there was something about an object and a poet?
But I can dream about a big red hat, sitting by the river watching the boats go by.
