This afternoon at the #UNSC , Amb. Fatima K. Mohammed 💎 underscored the AU’s commitment to the protection of civilians & underscore the need for it to be an integral part of the mandate of all AU #PSOs , pursuant to AUPSC Communique adopted at its 326th meeting held on 22 June 2012.

At the AUPSC today, I highlighted the long-standing partnership history b/w AU & UN on Sudan with meaningful achievements to build on and develop a powerful response to the call of Sudanese people.The war in Sudan entered its 2nd year & we cannot afford to let it last any longer!
