On a bright May morning 108 years ago, James Connolly, the acting General Secretary of our Union was shot dead.

Today, we honour and remember his memory and legacy in Arbour Hill.

Today, Óglaigh na hÉireann commemorated the leaders of the 1916 Rising at Arbour Hill Cemetery, Dublin.
During the ceremony, President of Ireland / Uachtarán na hÉireann Michael D. Higgins laid a wreath in remembrance.

A Captain's Guard of Honour was provided by the 6th Infantry…
