#YourADF conducted a ceremonial parade at Lavarack Barracks, Townsville, last week to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the Battle of Kapyong. The battle, fought from April 22 to 25, 1951, is regarded as the most important battle of Australian troops in the Korean War. #AusArmy

A mixture of armoured, artillery, engineering, infantry, logistics, command and control activities allowed units to develop. Notably, a small contingent from the Papua New Guinea Defence Force also deployed to participate in the exercise. 💥 ❗ #AusArmy #YourADF <2/2>
