Joined the Bihu celebrations at the residence of my Ministerial colleague Sarbananda Sonowal (Modi Ka Parivar) Ji. India is proud of the vibrant culture of Assam.

A orchid nursery. These orchids are in high demand among Bihu dancers.

Celebrated the Assamese new year, by applying turmeric to the cow, feeding it brinjal, warding flies off it, bathing it, and then fanning it. Cow’s name is Rupsita.

I love Assam and its incredibly beautiful traditions. Happy Bohag Bihu!
