Found these in the local charity shop, both £4.99 each, but well worth it. The 'Guide to Suffolk Churches' 608pp RRP £32.99 and 'Guide to Norfolk Churches'. 406pp RRP £29.99. So pleased.

Charles Tunnicliffe's poster from the 1950s put over a vital message in a period of owl decline, but was almost over-clever. Some individuals took it too seriously and turned up at police stations bearing live birds!

Part 2 of last weekend's Oxfam Bookshop . I already have two volumes, so now only need the Late Victorian volume, at a very low price. It's a good thing they were cheap, as those dust wrappers have taken forever to clean!
