The MoU was signed between CSIR-CIMAP and Shree Gaurav Mittal Allied and Chemicals Pvt Ltd, Bareilly. Under this agreement, CSIR-CIMAP, Allied and Chemicals Pvt Ltd will provide technical and quality plant material to Bareilly.

In the end, Director CSIR-CIMAP along with the guests of honor distributed seeds of improved variety, CIM-PITAMBARI (Turmeric) developed by CIMAP and improved Samba Mahsuri variety of rice developed by CSIR-CCMB to the farmers from Barabanki, Sitapur, Pratapgarh, Delhi.
