During #COP14 , the secretariat recognised the newly accredited Cities for the significant achievement. An accredited city benefits to gain international recognition and enter in the network of World Wetland Cities to demonstrate leadership in wetlands conservation and management.

The CMS COP 14 elected India as a member of the Asia region to the Standing Committee of CMS.

The CMS #COP14 also elected India as a member representing Asia region to the Sessional Committee of the Scientific Council of CMS. (1/3)
