Due to the approaching Hurricane forecast, the entire Cape Forchu Light Station property will be CLOSED, effective today, Thursday, September 14th at 5:00 p.m.

A decision to re-open the site will be made as any storm damage is assessed and repaired.

It’s the set for Robert Eggers’ film, #TheLighthouse being constructed on #CapeForchu #NovaScotia .

This will be the final week of the season for Climb the Light, our free museum, and on-site visitor hosts.

Our last day is September 24th, so make sure to come on out to Climb the Light and get a warm welcome from our staff!

The grounds and trail will remain open😄
