(6/8) With #MultiVintage #Collection248 we experienced a new aspect of our Réserve Perpetuelle. As a matter of fact it is so prominent in terms of texture & bouquet that we had to use less than usual: 14% of Réserve Perpetuelle only! #InPursuitofTaste -JBL
(4/8) as a matter of fact, Chardonnay being the clear winner in 2023, it does represent 47% of our #MultiVintage #Collection248 followed by 41% of Pinot noir & 12% Meunier! The majority of the Pinots comes from the northern Montagne de Reims! #InPursuitofTaste -JBL
(5/8) Due to low malic acid levels in the 2023 wines, we have done a historically small 17% of malolactic fermentation in #MultiVintage #Collection248 & only of the 2023 wines were fermented in oak to keep as much fruit as possible! #InPursuitofTaste -JBL
